Merlin's Magicians Flyball & Agility Team
Merlin's Magicians are a British Flyball Association team that came into being when the Carmarthenshire Chargers moved their training venue making the journey for training too far for some members.
We are enthusiasts who hope to draw more members from the areas we now train in. Or put more simply find more crazy dog lovers to have fun fun fun!!
At the moment Flyball training is weekly on Friday evenings at the Starlight Riding Centre, Penherber, Newcastle Emlyn. An indoor menage with excellent car parking and lighting.
Agility (just for fun) is also weekly, Mondays in the village of Bryn Iwen, a few miles south of Newcastle Emlyn. This venue is a super flat field which is well fenced, Gavin, the owner, extremely helpful, keeps the grass nice and short for us, we are very grateful to him.
We are also going to do alternating Flyball and Agility at Bryn Iwen Saturday afternoons, as this suits those who find work commitments make weekdays difficult.
A third venue has been offered for both Flyball and Agility near Ferryside and this will be commencing later in May 2009.
